To be able to reduce greenhouse gas emissions the EU has set itself the goal of increasing the share of renewable energies. To achieve this, however, the current energy infrastructure which relies mainly on the import of fossil fuels must be modernized and expanded.

The annual Israeli meeting of the Israeli-European Policy Network (IEPN) in Tel Aviv focused on the challenges and opportunities of the relations between the EU and Israel to jointly advance the green and climate agenda in the Euro-Mediterranean region.

This paper analyses and debates the challenges of the EU-Israel economic relations, situating them in their overarching environment of the Eastern Mediterranean. It assesses the impact of this strategy on EU-relations in the context of the Eastern Mediterranean sub-regional cooperation.

Juliette Maresté describes in this study the history, educational approaches and the context of Israeli memory culture based on four Israeli Shoah museums/institutions. The author analyzes different methods of conveying history in the context of remembrance and examines the political significance of the Shoah in Israeli society.
