"The Freedom to Create" Festival Celebrating Tzavta's 70th Anniversary

Freedom. Culture. Hope. These are the three words that accompany Tzavta Theatre's 70th anniversary year.

Throughout the month of September, the "Freedom to Create" Festival will feature a rich program of music, theatre, literature, film, fashion, and talks, showcasing some of Israel's leading artists and creators.

Among the performers and participants taking the stage at Tzavta are Shlomi Shaban, Arkadi Duchin, Rona Kenan, Danny Robas, Dov Navon, Lior Schleien, Rivka Michaeli, Ester Rada, Dikla, Nunu, Jimbo J, the Tziporela Ensemble, Lucy Aharish, and many more.

We believe that culture is a place where ideas, people and their diverse voices come together. That is why  even after 70 years, Tzavta continues to be a home for free, diverse, and vibrant Israeli creativity.

The festival is supported by the Tel Aviv–Yafo Municipality, the New Havatzelet Foundation of the Kibbutz Movement, the New Israel Fund, the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, and the Jewish Federation of New York.
