The Annual Conference of WePower – Women, Leadership, and Influence

Do you know Tamar Golan? Chances are, you might not. But you surely know Moshe Dayan.

Both were active during the same era; yet, while Moshe Dayan is well-known both in Israel and globally, most of us are unfamiliar with the story of Tamar Golan—her diplomatic work and her contributions to the State. This is no coincidence!

Regrettably, most of the women who came before us—who blazed trails and shaped our reality—did not receive the recognition and appreciation they deserved.

It is vital to us that the women who paved the way, as well as those active today, receive recognition for their achievements—both in the present and in the annals of history.

Therefore, at WePower’s annual conference—held in partnership with the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung and the European Union —we will screen Emmanuel Mayer’s award-winning film, “The Woman in White”. The film tells the story of Tamar Golan. Following the screening, we will host a discussion with three contemporary female leaders on the topics of leadership, influence, and the necessity of providing a platform and recognition to women who have made significant contributions to society and the State.

In the second part of the conference, we will explore the journey that still lies ahead on the path toward true equality.

We invite you to join us.

Come dressed in white!

You don’t need to wear white from head to toe—a white shirt is enough!

See you there.
