Riadiat – Aspiring Arab Women for Leadership

Together with our partner organization Mossawa, we have launched the second cycle of “Riadiat” – “Aspiring Women”, a leadership program for Arab women who want to take an active role in their communities and strengthen their participation in social, community, and political decision-making.

Over the coming months, participants will learn about gender equality, local government, community organizing, advocacy, and communication. They will also develop their own initiatives to create positive change in their communities.

The first two workshops have already taken place successfully. Participants discussed the role of women in local decision-making and explored ways to turn community ideas into action. The workshops created a valuable space for learning, networking, and exchanging experiences.

We are excited for the upcoming sessions and look forward to supporting these inspiring women as they build their skills, expand their networks, and drive change in their communities.

The program is part of a broad two-year project entitled "Make room for women's voices and women's leadership in decision-making processes in Israel", which is co-financed by the European Union.
