NFCT WomenFilms Seminar

The one-year program includes three 5-day seminars that allow the participants to immerse themselves in the development process away from the responsibilities of work and family. For five intensive days, the filmmakers worked together with the program's staff and mentors to develop their ideas, film language and motifs.

On the last day of the seminar, the nine participants of this year's cohort were given the opportunity to present their projects to the mentors and the rest of the group as well as Judith Stelmach, representing the FES, for the first time. The nine documentary film projects cover a broad thematic spectrum, from historical to very personal stories. This wide thematic scope reflects the diversity of the participants very well.
