Kol Mekomi – Local Voice: Meeting of Newly Elected Local Politicians From the Progressive Camp

Organized by our partner organization, the Tzedek Centers, candidates belonging to the Social Democratic camp who were anxious for entering local politics have been trained over the last two years. 102 of the course participants, over 80 percent of the course alumni, actually managed to be elected as city or regional council delegates, some of them will be appointed even as deputy mayors. And no less important – 50 percent of “our” delegates are women – all committed to the values of social justice, equality and democracy.

We celebrated our success on March 29th in Beit Berl together with over 130 senior and new politicians from Nahariya to Eilat. But that's just the beginning - from now on the new politicians will be systematically supported in their new careers by the excellent Local Voice team. Good luck!
