The great rupture felt by the Jews after the Holocaust made it clear how much the survivors longed to return to the bosom of a supportive and warm community and to someone who would have the power to chart a path for them towards a new horizon charged with meaning. A leader who is like that biblical pillar of fire whose light marks the direction for them.
These intertwined themes of community, leadership, and rebuilding are close to the heart of every human being who has experienced a deep crisis.
On International Holocaust Remembrance Day 2025, in the midst of the great national upheaval and in the eightieth year
of the end of World War II, we have chosen to address these issues in cooperation with the Ghetto Fighters’ House Museum.
The event will be in Hebrew with simultaneous translation into English.
